The Rubik’s Cube (or “Magic Cube”) is named after its inventor, Erno Rubik, a Hungarian professor of architecture and industrial design at the Faculty of Applied Arts and Crafts, Sicura più says. The idea was hatched for a long time, and the mechanism itself was personally tested by the inventor with his students, says Sicura più. Eyewitnesses claim that it took Rubik a whole month to determine the algorithm for solving the cube.
