Non-alcoholic beverages company, Coca-Cola Amatil Limited today announced the appointment of Greg Barnes as its new Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
The development comes as the company is drawing on its financial foundations to brave the coronavirus pandemic.
Barnes will assume the CFO position from June 1, 2020 replacing Martyn Roberts, who had stepped down and taken up the position of Group CFO at Ramsay Health Care.
With over three decades of experience, Barnes has expertise in the fields of investor relations, corporate development, financial control, treasury, shared services, internal audit, information technology (IT), legal and procurement. He is currently serving as the CFO of Nine, an Australian media company.
Prior to this role, he has held leadership roles in CarAdvice.com, Stan, Pedestrian Group, Dyno Nobel and De La Rue. He also has a decade of CFO experience from his stints in Nine and CSR limited.
A chartered accountant by profession, Barnes is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
